What is Click to Pay?

Click to pay is a faster and safer way to check out online using your Visa card without entering your card details everytime.

It is more a secure secure online payment service from Visa that lets you check out quickly without needing to enter your card number, expiry date or CVV number.

Once your eligible card is enrolled, your details are securely stored and tready to use when shopping online with participating retailers.

Getting started

You don’t need to download anything or create an account.

If you have an eligible Visa card and your contact details (mobile number and email) are up to date, you’ll be automatically enrolled.

Step 1

Card Member will input Click to Pay email or phone number at the checkout.

Step 2

Option to Select “remember me” on their trusted devices & skip for this step future.

Step 3

Card Member will receive a one-time code from Visa. Select "remember me" on their trusted devices & skip for this step future.

Step 4

Choose your preferred card you want to pay with.

Step 5

Checkout successful.

What is Click to Pay?

What if I didn’t receive the code

Can I opt out of Click to pay?

Yes, you can opt out at any time. To opt out of Click to Pay, simply contact us and we’ll arrange this for you. Speak to your local branch, call us on 02 6862 788.

Can I still use my card as normal?

Of course, you can continue to pay by entering your card details manually or using other payment methods.

Do I need to download anything or create an account?

No, you don’t need to download an app or create an account to use Click to Pay.

If you have an eligible Visa card, you may be automatically enrolled. There’s nothing you need to do to get started.

Is it secure?

Yes. Click to Pay helps protect your card details by not sharing your full card number with the merchant. You may also be asked to verify your identity for added security.

What happens if I have more than one card?

If you have multiple cards linked to the same email address and mobile number, you may see all of them when selecting your payment method at checkout.

What happens if I get a new or replacement card?

Replacement and renewed cards are automatically enrolled in Click to Pay, so you can continue using it without interruption.

What if I’m travelling or my mobile number changes?

Click to Pay uses your mobile number and email to verify it's you, so keep these up to date if you're heading overseas or changing your number. You can update your details anytime through online banking, the app, or by calling us. If you can't receive the verification message while you're away, you can still pay by entering your card details manually.

What if my card is locked or blocked?

You may still see your card in Click to Pay, but transactions won’t be approved until your card is active again and enabled for online purchases

What if someone has a card linked to my account?

If someone else, like a partner or a child aged 14 or over, has their own card linked to your account, their card is enrolled separately using their own contact details, not yours. If they don't have their own mobile number and email on file, their card won't be automatically enrolled.

What is the $0.00 transaction from Visa Provisioning Service on my account?

You may notice a $0.00 transaction from Visa Provisioning Service when adding your card to Click to Pay. This is a temporary validation check used to confirm your card details are valid.

Don't worry, no money has been charged to your account and no action is required. The $0.00 transaction will automatically disappear from your account shortly.

Where can I use Click to Pay?

You can use Click to Pay at participating online stores. Just look for the Click to Pay icon at checkout.

Will I still be asked to confirm my payment?

You may be asked to enter a one-time code or complete a quick verification step to help keep your account secure. Additional transaction verification steps may also apply depending on the merchant, transaction, or Visa requirements.

Click to Pay is Visa’s express online checkout experience that allows cardholders to make payments with an eligible Visa card at participating merchants without manually entering card details.

To use Click to Pay, an eligible and active Visa card must be enrolled in the service. Central West Credit Union customers who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically enrolled.

Click to Pay may automatically populate checkout details at participating merchants. Cardholders warrant that their details are accurate, that they are authorised to use the card, and agree not to misuse or interfere with the service.

Neither Central West Credit Union, nor Cuscal is a party to any merchant transaction completed using Click to Pay.

Use of Click to Pay is optional, you may choose not to use Click to Pay as a payment method. Use of Click to Pay and any liability for card use remains subject to the Credit Unions Conditions of use.

To enable and operate Click to Pay, Central West Credit Union may share limited personal information with Visa. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Credit Union’s Privacy Policy.
