We celebrate your wins and we support you during tough times.
The COVID19 pandemic has had an effect on everybody. Some have felt the impact more than others - but it’s safe to say everyone is feeling increased pressure and anxiety during this time.
We want you to know now, more than ever - we are here for you.
We want to assure you, the safety and wellbeing of our staff and members is our highest priority.
But, our commitment to supporting our community and providing a fantastic service has not changed.
We are monitoring the restrictions being implemented by both State and Federal governments. We have also implemented new procedures in our branches to stay in line with the health guidelines.
Our safety protocol
We are practicing social distancing in our branches, ensuring customers are standing 1.5 metres away from each other.
We are undertaking extra cleaning and sanitization procedures, stepping up our usual hygiene measures.
We are also asking our members to please consider alternative ways to complete transactions. We have many services available to allow you to bank without coming into a branch:
- using our online/digital banking options like RediNet internet banking and our mobile app
- 24 hour ATM’s
- contact us via email or telephone. We can also organise a teleconference option, should you still wish to experience our wonderful face to face service!

We're here to help
At CWCU, our priority is the financial and personal well-being of our members.
If you experience financial stress, we encourage you to get in touch with us so we can work through your options together. A range of measures are available to assist genuinely impacted members including deferment of loan repayments, for up to three months. For the duration of the support period, no repayments are required; during this time however interest will continue to accrue normally.
Other options that may be able to assist during this time are available, including:
- accessing additional money available for redraw (for eligible loans)
- reducing the repayments to the minimum amount
- accessing off-set savings
