CWCU - The Team Serving You

16 July, 2019
At Central West Credit Union, our community is our priority.

We offer competitive products to those of the banks, with a service that is focused on you - not dividends to shareholders.

So, our people are very important to us. We know the businesses and the people in each community - and we share in their important milestones.

Here are some exciting things that have happened in our team at CWCU.

The NEWEST face at our Credit Union: Bianca Cotter

Bianca has recently joined us as a trainee MSO at our Cowra branch. Here are some fun facts so you can get to know her, if you don’t already!

  • went to school at The Henry Lawson High School Grenfell
  • completed Cert II in Business at school and is currently completing Cert III in Financial Services. She hopes to continue on from that!
  • enjoys socialising with friends on weekends - and travelling, when she gets the opportunity
  • hopes to continue saving and plans to invest in a property in the near future.
Stop into our Cowra branch and say hello!

Casey Hewen - Fundraising Extraordinaire!

Casey is MSO in our Cowra branch.

This year Casey was a queen entrant in the 62nd Henry Lawson Festival representing the Grenfell Swimming Club. One of the requirements was to raise funds on behalf of a local organisation to go back towards the community.

The key goal was to raise funds to go towards building more hard shelter at the Grenfell Swimming Pool.

Casey conducted numerous fundraising activities in the months leading up to the June Long Weekend/ Henry Lawson festival which included a Black, White & Gold ball, raffles and 100 clubs which consisted of prizes donated by the Grenfell community and an Android TV donated by CWCU.

Through all of her fundraising efforts and kind donations by the local and surrounding communities, approximately $6000 was raised to help go towards better improving the Grenfell pool.
