CWCU in the Community

18 December, 2019
CWCU has a strong focus on supporting our community - and getting involved with initiatives!

Here are some of the highlights of 2019 - from fundraisers, to young sportspeople!

Cowra breast cancer fundraiser

Well done to the Cowra girls for raising $1,000 for the National Breast Cancer foundation.

Congratulations to Jean Sandberg who takes home a Cowra cashcard valued at $250. Thanks to everyone for your support.

Sports Achiever Awards

We have seen some fantastic young people come through our doors to collect their well deserved Sports Achiever Awards.

A BIG congrats to Olivia Holland who was awarded the CWCU Monthly Sports Achiever Award for September for her Pony Club efforts.

Olivia recently competed in the 2019 Pony Club Assoc State Show Riding and Dressage Championships where she enjoyed success in her age group.

Olivia also had the opportunity to travel to China to represent Pony Club Australia with five other riders from around Australia.

Well done Olivia!

Local Wins

At CWCU, our focus is on our people. We want to see our communities achieve their goals!

We've been sharing some 'local wins' on Facebook, to celebrate our customers.

One of our favourites is first home buyer Lucy McGrath, pictured outside her new house with CWCU Loans Staff Tania Parker.

Lucy worked hard, and with the help of CWCU she has achieved her dream of home ownership.

Congratulations Lucy!

Parkes Show

We had another sensational year at the Parkes Show in 2019.

It was great to see so many familiar faces - and some new ones!

The Animal Nursery was very popular and fun was had by so many families, with people of all ages coming in to spend time with the adorable animals - and CWCU!
