Here at CWCU, we have been very busy developing an updated and improved Mobile Banking App, and it’s almost here!
Launching soon, the new app will be easier, faster and even more secure for our customers to manage their money.
There are a range of new features being added, allowing you to bank anywhere, anytime, right from the palm of your hand.
Check out some of them below!
Future and Recurring Payments
You can now set up future and recurring payments using the new CWCU app. A recurring payment can be set up to deposit money into your home loan account each payday, or to make regular payments to someone else’s account at another financial institution - whatever you need!
These payments can be a one-off, continue indefinitely, for a set number of payments or occur for a defined period of time.
The Pending Transactions function allows you to view any transactions that are pending on an account. You can now select an individual account in context and then view these pending transactions in a list preceding posted transactions.
Activate a New Card
When we send you a new or replacement card, it is deactivated for security reasons. Rather than having to come into a branch or giving us a call, you can now activate your card by logging into the app and following some simple instructions in the cards area.
As part of our new app we have a range of built in calculators that allow you to estimate your potential borrowing power or compare various loans. Our calculators give you the tools to make the best possible financial decision.
Our new Payee Management feature allows you to manage payees and billers from within the app. You can now create new DES payees (BSB/Account number) and BPAY billers. This feature also allows you to manage payees and billers by editing their existing details and deleting any you no longer need.
Personal Spend Tracker
Your spending decisions, no matter how small, all add up. Our new app has a spend tracker feature that categorises every debit and credit card transaction, making it easier to see the impact your spending decisions have on your everyday finances.
Knowing exactly what, where and how much you are spending each month helps you set a budget and keep a closer eye on certain categories, so you don’t stray off track.
Set up Savings Goals
Home, holiday, rainy day. Whatever you are saving for, the new CWCU app has just made it a hundred times easier.
Now when you onboard or open an account, you will be able to set up savings goals to help you reach your financial goals. When you are prompted to set up your goal, record the amount of money you’d like to save and establish a name for it. Then all you have to do is work towards that goal.
Pro tip: use the new recurring payments feature to automatically transfer a portion of money each payday into your goal account!
